The Termez Branch is part of Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) — one of Uzbekistan’s leading and oldest medical universities. The main Academy was established through presidential decree and later reorganized into its current form; this branch was established in 2018 to expand medical education to the southern region of the country.
The branch focuses on delivering a comprehensive medical curriculum with strong emphasis on both theoretical foundations and practical clinical skills. Students are trained using modern teaching technologies, hands-on laboratory practice, and clinical exposure in affiliated hospitals and treatment facilities in and around Termez.
